ECK Civil Engineering Ltd were entrusted by Sohoko to deliver the Moon Garden — a striking outdoor feature commissioned by world-renowned mixologist Tony Conigliaro in partnership with Asahi Super Dry. The project reimagines a Japanese gravel garden, merging art, architecture, and hospitality through a seamless interplay of light, materials, and form.
ECK handled all site preparation, excavation, and formation works, coordinating closely with the design team to translate artistic vision into a buildable form. We fabricated and installed bespoke decking, seating, and bar platform structures, delivered specialist concrete and resin-bound surfaces, and integrated concealed lighting and services to create the glowing “moon” effect. The project also included landscaping, planting, and fit-out detailing for a complete finish.
The completed Moon Garden is now a signature attraction at Untitled Bar, admired for its craftsmanship and innovative use of light and material. The installation seamlessly connects the restaurant interior with an immersive outdoor space, earning praise from both client and collaborators for ECK’s professionalism and attention to detail.
