Cadent HP Gas main

Cadent identified a vulnerable location within the high-pressure gas network located in Stoke, Staffordshire. The high-pressure steel main runs through agricultural land, at the watercourse the depth of cover was insufficient, causing the steel pipe to be exposed. Our client, Mott McDonald Bentley, was asked as the main contractor to complete Wardell Armstrong’s design.

Solution

To install the Cadent approved Concrete Canvass design and reprofile the watercourse, including raising the bed 300mm over the length of the work.

Outcome

The project achieved outstanding feedback from MMB and Cadent for being delivered ahead of schedule, and for the excellent relationships formed by the ECK team with the Farm owner & Land agent. ECK look forward to working on our next project with MMB & Cadent after the success of this scheme.
